A REMINDER FOR DARK DAYS|THE LOVE THAT NEVER FAILS|A DIVINE NUDGE

 Feeling Unworthy? Let’s talk Romans 8:31-39….

Hello my gentle and dearest readers (feeling like Lady Whistledown🤭😅). 

I woke up one morning with the book of Romans 5 weighing heavily on my heart. As I opened my Bible to explore chapter 5, my eyes landed on a familiar passage I had highlighted and annotated in my Bible. The words jumped off the page, speaking directly to my soul. I felt compelled to write down  my thoughts and insights in my journal, and I realized that I had previously recorded the passage in my journal and I immediately felt like God was encouraging me to share my thoughts with others, I didn’t know how best to go about this and decided to put it out here on my blog and I hope that it will encourage you as much as it encourages me. May the timeless truths of Romans 8 resonate in your heart, bringing comfort, hope, and encouragement.

Romans 8:31-39 is a powerful reminder of God's unconditional love and victory in our lives. It's a passage that encourages us to trust in His love and to live with confidence and hope, knowing that nothing can separate us from His presence.

I have a lot to say about this passage of the Bible but rather than just saying what is laid in my heart directly, we would go through each verse to enable us have better understanding.

Romans 8:31-32

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"

Now, I love how this verse starts with a rhetorical questions, "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?". Who dares question the decision of the Creator? The one who made and formed you? The one you know has the greatest power in heaven and on earth. The answer is so clear. No one can stand against us because God is our advocate.

Do you know who an Advocate is? An advocate is someone who stands in the Favour of a person.

This same God sacrificed his OWN SON for you and I, yet you believe the lies of devil? You believe you’re not loved? You’re deeply loved by God and He’ll so lavish you with every good thing.

Romans 8:33-34

“Who then would dare to accuse those whom God

has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them-“Not guilty!” Who then is left to condemn us Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph?”

Who dares to accuse you when THE ADVOCATE Himself has chosen and acquitted you?? No one can condemn you, not even your own doubts, not even the enemy. Your Father justifies and He is your constant advocate, always praying and standing up for you.

Romans 8:35-37

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: 'For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."

Feeling unworthy? This is your answer!! Nothing can ever and will never separate you from God's love! Not your brokenness,not your failures, not your fears, not your feeling of being unloved, not your struggles. You are more than a conqueror through Jesus, who loves you unconditionally.

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Nothing in all creation can separate you from God's love! You are loved, you are cherished, and you are His.

Remember, you are not alone, and you are not unloved. God loves you more than you can imagine, and He is always with you. Hold on to these promises my darling, and know that you are strong enough to get through this with His help because you are not just conqueror, but more than conqueror.
